We are currently seeking a Test Technician Intern to support our manufacturing team in the production of oscilloscopes, probes, and cables. In this role, you will test, troubleshoot, and repair LeCroy instruments at both the system and component levels. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across departments, work closely with product design engineers, and help bring new products to life on the manufacturing floor.
This is a hands-on role ideal for students with a genuine interest in electronics, test engineering, and hardware manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair oscilloscopes, probes, and electronic assemblies under supervision.
- Operate software-driven test stations.
- Learn to interpret production drawings and schematics to identify and resolve failures.
- Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, network analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies with guidance from experienced technicians.
- Provide feedback and support to improve engineering test processes, including evaluating test procedures, equipment, workflows, and contributing to documentation updates.
- Participate in team meetings and support key metrics and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a related 2 or 4-year program such as:
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
- Electronics Technician Certificate
- or a related program
- Minimum 1 year of program credits
- Familiarity with test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, waveform generators).
- Ability to interpret production drawings, schematics, and manufacturing procedures written in English.
- Comfortability utilizing Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and hands-on learning capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Genuine interest in the electronics industry.
- Basic soldering ability or prior electronics lab experience.
- Ability to tailor communication (both written and verbal) to your audience.
- Familiarity with coding, scripting, or databases.
- Exposure to Arduino, microcontrollers, or basic embedded systems.
- Experience with 3D printing software and simple mechanical prototyping.

Salary Range:
$50,600.00-$67,500.000Pay Transparency
