Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing cashiering services to customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Sells and redeems chips
- Cashes personal checks and other negotiable instruments
- Processes cash advance transactions
- Issues and redeems markers, front money, safekeeping deposits and withdrawals
- Exchanges foreign currency and processes Western Union checks
- Balances to an impressed amount daily
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists patrons with information and directions
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have previous money handling experience
Competencies:Â Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Accurate and timely transactions with patrons
Training Requirements:
- Knowledge of ACSC, Global Cash Access and ERP computer systems
- Knowledge of the casino computer management system
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to work in a smoking environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
