Job Summary
Assist in the implementation of all transportation routing policies and procedures. Plan, develop and create routes for bus drivers to ensure safe driving practices which adhere to Federal, State and District transportation policies, rules and regulations. Interacts with school staff, parents, and other district employees to provide customer service and support. Oracle Test
What you will do
- Ensure all routes are accurate with critical safety information applied to the map, such as speed, railroad crossings, bridge weight capacity, medians, right and left turn only roads, no cross, and no walk areas
- Maintain the specific and proper settings within the map
- Enter all new student information received from Individualized Education Program (IEP) online manually
- Provide customer support training to transportation staff and school personnel in the use of the current routing web application
- Provide training to Transportation Staff and local school users on how to best utilize the routing software
- Analyze routing data in area of responsibility to improve efficiencies
- Collaborates with supervisors and drivers concerning routing and routing adjustments.
- Recommends scheduling adjustments to supervisory staff and stakeholders
Education Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Experience Qualifications
- 1-3 years Experience in pupil transportation activities, with demonstrated knowledge of state and federal pupil transportation rules and regulations Required
Skills and Abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Office 365 suite and other software or application platforms.
