Position Summary

CREO is a PE-backed, industry-leading manufacturing company producing innovative, sustainable household products for indoor and outdoor living The company generates $400M in annual revenue and has 1,000 employees across US, Mexico and Asia. Products are primarily sold through big-box retailers across the United States.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting & analytics for CREO.  The role will support the Senior Director of Finance with reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analyses.  Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing and analyzing the company’s cost accounting functions, focusing on standard costing, bill of materials (BOMs), and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A and/or cost accounting with a manufacturing company.

Major Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Reporting
    • Support financial planning and analysis, including annual budget, forecasting, and long-range planning
    • Support financial dashboards, management reporting and Board of Directors presentations
    • Partner with business leaders in operations, supply chain, and sales to evaluate financial impacts of strategic initiatives
    • Provide financial insights to guide product pricing, margin management, capital investments, and cost optimization
    • Ad hoc financial reporting & analyses for senior leadership
  • Operations Finance
    • Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing systems to ensure accurate product costing and financial reporting
    • Prepare and analyze bill of materials (BOMs), ensuring accuracy and consistency across all product lines
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing and product sales
    • Monitor and evaluate cost variances and financial metrics, providing detailed reports and insights to management for decision-making purposes
    • Support plant operations with financial analysis of productivity, capacity utilization, and cost efficiency
    • Support capital expenditure planning, ROI analysis, and working capital analyses
    • Assist in the month-end close procedures, including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience in a related field, preferably finance, etc.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Financial statements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong background in Excel and Microsoft products. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP Systems

Physical Demands

  1. Long periods of work that primarily involves sitting
  2. Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
