Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a core member of the Platform Partnerships team, you will serve as the operational engine supporting the Senior Platform Partnerships Manager. Your mission is to ensure the smooth execution of Dow Jones’ high-profile partnerships on platforms like Apple News and Snapchat. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution, ensuring that our internal workflows are seamless, our data is impeccable, and our performance is tracked with precision.

Reporting directly to the Senior Platform Partnerships Manager, you will act as their primary operational partner in managing the health of the business.

You will work in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days a week.

YOU WILL

Drive Internal Synergy: Facilitate coordination across newsrooms, marketing, product, and finance. You are the "connective tissue" that keeps multiple internal groups aligned on partnership goals.

Master Performance Data: Take full ownership of KPI tracking. You will monitor and visualize performance data to provide the Senior Manager with actionable insights into how our brands are performing on third-party platforms.

Streamline Business Operations: Navigate the business lifecycle of our partnerships by managing contract routing and financial workflows (such as purchase orders and billing) to ensure projects move forward without friction.

Orchestrate Complex Logistics: Manage the cadence of the partnerships team by organizing cross-functional meetings and managing calendars to ensure all stakeholders are engaged at the right time.

Optimize Content Experience: Support the Senior Manager in auditing and improving the user experience for Dow Jones content on platform partner apps.

YOU HAVE

Flexibility: You are willing and able to work in our midtown Manhattan office at least 3 days every week.

Digital Media Fluency: You have at least 7 years of experience in digital media, account management, or operations. You understand the ecosystem of platform partnerships.

Exceptional Organizational Rigor: You are a effective project manager who thrives on creating order out of complexity. You never let a detail slip through the cracks.

Expert Data & Spreadsheet Skills: You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, comfortable manipulating large datasets, and able to translate numbers into clear performance updates. These are core requirement to success in this role.

AI-First Mindset: You are an early adopter of AI tools and use them proactively to automate repetitive workflows, summarize data, and increase your overall output.

Internal Influence: You are able to communicate effectively across diverse departments (from Legal to Editorial) to get contracts signed and projects approved.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field and/or equivalent field experience.
