Always Compassionate Health is a Licensed Home Care Services Agency providing exceptional community-based nursing care across the Newburgh area. We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for evaluations, nursing guidance, and monthly chart reviews of ventilation patients we are currently servicing.

Qualifications/Education:
• NY State License as a Respiratory Therapist
• 2 years working as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical environment.
• Home care experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Assessment of the assigned patient to ensure proper working of respiratory equipment.
• Application of the prescribed respiratory equipment to include mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene and pharmacologic agents related to respiratory care procedures.
• Education of patients, family members and clinicians involved in the respiratory care of the patient.
• Develop training programs for clinicians at the point of hire and annually.
• Assess and document clinician competency in respiratory care procedures.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/work for extended periods.
• Additional responsibilities as required.

Salary:
• Starting at $55 per hour
