Job DetailsJob Location: LightPath Technologies - Orlando, FL 32826Position Type: Full TimeProduction Supervisor Description:    The Production Supervisor will oversee and direct all activities across multiple production areas. This position will be responsible for supervising staff, monitoring workflow, and delivering products. The Production Supervisor will verify all incoming and outgoing materials and meet client delivery expectations. This role reports directly to the operations department and works in close collaboration with engineering, sales, and accounting. Reports to:                                                                                                                                    Status: Production Manager                                                                                                       Full-time; Exempt Location:                                                                                                                                                          Workplace Status: Orlando, FL                                                                                                                                                                              On-Site   Responsibilities: Responsible for supervision of hourly employees Responsible for communicating job expectations and monitoring employee performance Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of production processes, setting process variables, studying process methods, and implementing cost reduction Implement and maintain standard departmental procedures Collaborate with Engineering, Accounting, and Sales in updating ERP, Infor Visual system Ensure all outputs meet quality standards by establishing and/or enforcing organization requirements Implement and maintain a training program for all aspects departments Enforce a safe and clean working environment including 5s Maintain and practice compliance with company policies and procedures Analyze data and identify solution methods for equipment and process issues Work with external and internal suppliers Work and cooperate with Engineering, Sales, and accounting departments Assist in the documentation and updating of process work instructions Develop and drive cost reduction initiatives and process optimization Coach, counsel, and discipline employees Monitor manufacturing process and record process times, yields, and efficiencies Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Able to work with moderate amounts of noise Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English Minimum previous experience/qualification:   A.A or A.S from two (2) year college or university or a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education. Expertise in MIL specs, ITAR regulations, ISO and ANSI specifications Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with but not limited to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR), but not limited to U.S. export (ITAR) guidelines. Valid Florida driver’s license
