This position is responsible for: Under the direction of the Finance Manager for NCH and the Orlando Practice, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for management reporting, financial analysis, operating budgets, capital budgets, and accounting issues relating to the Orlando site.  The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to the Hospital and Clinic Administrators and Department Directors/ Managers by assisting with fiscal monitoring the operations and providing analysis of key performance indicators.

Essential Functions: 

  1. Issues monthly management reports to Administrators, Department Directors and Managers
  2. Works with the Department management on developing the budgets, including training, coordination and review
  3. Prepares, reviews and analyzes financial data for purpose of hospital/practice decision support.
  4. Develops monthly variance reports, and researches reasons for variances.
  5. Works with Management to prepare a quarterly update to the budget based on current volume levels
  6. Educates and assists Managers and Administrators in understanding financial reports.

 7.    Prepares special reports and projects as assigned by the Hospital/ Practice Director or Administrator.

 8.    Must have the ability to work well with others.

 9.  Regular attendance is required.

10. Good communications skills are required.

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree Required

A minimum of five years experience in Financial Analysis/ Budget preparation, healthcare experience preferred
