RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
• Removes all regular and medical waste.Â
• Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines.Â
• Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines.Â
• Performs all cleaning functions as scheduled (high and low dusting, disinfecting of all surfaces, window cleaning, dry and wet mopping.)Â
• Maintains all floor surfaces (dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing or extraction, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, burnishing.)Â
• Completes all housekeeping projects as assigned (stairwells, elevators, doors…)Â
• Attends monthly department meetings.Â
• Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
PREFERREDÂ
• High School Diploma or equivalent.Â
• 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred in education, healthcare, and/or business and industry.
