We are seeking an Architect with strong experience supporting enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics, OMS (Order Management Systems), and Oracle platforms. This role will focus on production support architecture, system stability, root cause analysis, and cross-application coordination to ensure reliable and scalable operations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the technical architect for enterprise application support across OMS, and Oracle
  • Lead production support architecture, including incident resolution and permanent fixes
  • Provide technical leadership during Sev-1/Sev-2 incidents
  • Partner with development, infrastructure, integration, and business teams to resolve complex issues
  • Delivers elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes or other detailed deliverables.
  • Designs computer and network systems to meet technology needs of business applications.
  • Researches software and hardware products or services to find best solutions within defined budget to meet business requirements.
  • Performs system and network modeling, analysis and planning to implement solutions to meet business needs within financial budget guidelines.
  • Translates requirements to internal information technology teams such as software and hardware programmers, developers and network administrators to implement design.
  • Reviews and analyzes current technology infrastructure and its ability to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Licenses/Certificates/Designations - Cisco, Microsoft, VMware is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture and support
  • 3 years of Experience in network or systems design is required; 5 years preferred).
  • 3 years of Experience with ERP systems is required; 5 years preferred).
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of major operating systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology including servers, storage arrays, storage networking, network protocols, and general connectivity in multi-platform enterprise environments is required.
  • Good understanding of virtualization concepts is required.
  • Good understanding of load balancing and system redundancy concepts is required.
  • Communicates effectively verbally including excellent presentation skills is required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of relationship between business systems and technology platforms is required.
  • Highly motivated and organized with a strong sense of initiative for identifying information, resources and problem solving is required.
  • Dedicated to developing relationships with team members, colleagues, and clients is required.
  • Creative thinking outside of the box is preferred.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
