What You Can Expect:

Process Analysis and Optimization:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of current warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Design and implement streamlined workflows that maximize resource utilization and minimize waste.

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze operational data, such as cycle times, throughput, inventory levels, and order accuracy, to identify trends and performance metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend process improvements.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions such as warehouse management systems (WMS), automated picking systems, and data capture technologies to improve overall warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of chosen technologies.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

  • Develop and document standardized operating procedures that ensure consistency, accuracy, and safety in warehouse processes.
  • Train and educate warehouse staff on new procedures and best practices

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineer, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in using process analysis tools, data visualization software, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Strong understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with warehouse automation technologies.
