We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil CAD Designer to join our team in Pottstown, PA.Ā This role focuses on preparing site development plans and supporting civil engineering design for a variety of residential, commercial, and municipal projects.Ā
As a Civil CAD Designer, you will assist engineers and project managers in developing grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and erosion control plans while ensuring compliance with local, state, and regulatory requirements.Ā
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed site layout, grading, drainage, utility, roadway, and erosion & sediment control plans using CAD software
- Assist engineers with the design and development of land development projects from concept through construction
- Interpret surveys, zoning requirements, and municipal standards to incorporate into design plans
- Perform earthwork calculations, stormwater management layouts, and utility design support
- Draft, revise, and maintain technical drawings, plans, and profiles for project submissions and approvals
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and project alignment
- Support preparation of plans for municipal, county, and state agency submissions
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for reference and revisions
- Stay informed on design standards, software updates, and land development regulations

Qualifications
- Experience as a Civil Designer, Civil CAD Technician, or in a similar civil engineering support role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or comparable CAD design software
- Working knowledge of land development design principles, grading, drainage, and utilities
- Familiarity with municipal design standards, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in plan preparation
