Occupational Therapist

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Prospect Heights, IL. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving greater independence and success within their school environment.

Position Highlights

• Location: Prospect Heights, IL

• Compensation: Starting at $55 per hour

• Schedule: School-based, following the academic calendar

Responsibilities

• Provide direct OT services to students based on IEP goals

• Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress

• Develop and implement interventions to support fine motor, sensory, and functional school participation

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License (OTR/L)

• School-based experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for supporting students with diverse needs
