Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting and enhancing Kubota’s independent dealer network to achieve long‑term growth, market sustainability, and regional sales objectives. Acting as the “quarterback” for the assigned territory, this role indirectly leads and coordinates field support teams including BDMs, FSMs, PSMs, and other cross‑functional partners. The Regional Sales Manager builds strong dealer relationships, drives sales performance, supports operational excellence, and ensures a consistently positive experience for Kubota customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong, positive relationships with dealers to enhance the customer experience and promote Kubota brand loyalty.
- Build rapport through regular dealership visits, participation in dealer events, and delivery of dealer training.
- Manage regional inventory levels to ensure appropriate months‑of‑supply and oversee all KTC equipment within the territory.
- Provide management with sales trends, territory analysis, and accurate forecasting.
- Identify underperforming market segments and work with dealers and leadership to implement targeted improvement plans.
- Resolve dealer and end‑user issues by working across internal Kubota departments to identify and implement solutions.
- Facilitate and coordinate training for dealer personnel on products, policies, and procedures, including support from both field and office teams.
- Manage co‑op marketing activities within assigned budgets in partnership with dealers and KTC agencies.
- Support dealers in utilizing Kaizen Excellence Program (KEP) resources.
- Guide dealers through network changes such as buy‑sells, mergers, or self‑terminations, while helping establish long‑term development strategies.
- Ensure a consistently positive end‑user experience through collaboration with dealership staff and Kubota service personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Manufacturing, Mechanical field, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in retail and wholesale sales.
- Ability to resolve disputes and work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to travel frequently with minimal supervision (60–75% daily travel; overnight travel based on region and events).
