The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Electrophysics Engineer (Level 2) to join the F-15 Electronic Warfare team located in St Louis, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
This position will be supporting multiple Domestic and Foreign Military Sale (FMS) Development programs as part of the F-15 Mission Systems organization. The primary responsibilities for this individual will focused on development and integration of defensive systems on multiple variants of the F-15 Platform and oversee digital and RF hardware redesigns, perform lab test and support flight test operations with test point closure and data analysis. In addition, the individual will have the opportunity to work on design, development and test of various defensive systems under development.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing and validating requirements for various sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
- Assists in performing trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
- Assists in developing requirements allocation, hardware/software qualification test, performance test, verification, problem reporting, and data analysis plans.
- Defines and conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.
- Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle by providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues.
- Supports project management by preparing and presenting project status data.
- Apply general knowledge of electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces.
​This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- Minimum of 2 or more years of related work experience with a Bachelor’s or work related engineering experience with a Master’s.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- Ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only
- Experience with Electronic Warfare systems and signal processing
- Experience on avionics hardware/software development
- Experience in lab, ground or flight test operations
- Matlab or Visual Studio programming
Typical Education:
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Summary pay range:
Level 2: $79,750- $108.000
