In this role, the Clinical Supervisor provides day-to-day clinical oversight, ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance, facilitates clinical staffing and supervision, and coordinates comprehensive care for clients. This position partners closely with leadership and community stakeholders to promote integrated services, continuous quality improvement, and effective program operations.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide clinical oversight to ensure high-quality, ethical, and effective service delivery
· Lead and facilitate clinical staffing meetings, case reviews, and diagnostic discussions
· Deliver individual, family, and group therapy services as required by program needs
· Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff through regular supervision and performance feedback
· Monitor clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans for accuracy and compliance
· Coordinate integrated care across clinical, community support, and physical healthcare services
· Collaborate with external agencies to ensure continuity and appropriateness of client services
· Respond to and manage crisis situations, ensuring proper intervention and incident reporting
· Oversee scheduling, staffing coverage, and service delivery to meet licensing requirements
· Support quality management initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
· Assist leadership with program planning, fiscal oversight, and quarterly reporting
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field with at least three (3) years of professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and one (1) year of supervisory experience
OR
· Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field with at least four (4) years of professional experience in substance use disorder treatment and two (2) years of supervisory experience
AND
· Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) certified by the Missouri Credentialing Board or applicable State Board with four (4) years of professional experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience
OR
· Counselor, psychologist, or physician licensed in Missouri with at least one (1) year of professional experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience in substance use disorder treatment
· Qualified mental health professional meeting Missouri state requirements, including licensed physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, professional counselors, clinical social workers, or individuals with a Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field with supervised clinical experience
Additional Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
· Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners
· Strong leadership, supervision, and staff development skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to respond calmly and professionally in crisis situations
· Commitment to ethical practice, quality improvement, and organizational mission
· Successful completion of required background checks
· Required certifications must be attained and maintained as outlined by program and regulatory standards
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
· Frequent repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing
functions with or without reasonable accommodation
