Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) division is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Manager to join our team in support of the MQ-25 Program located in Berkley, MO.

As one of the MQ-25 SEIT Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of engineers across various disciplines, including systems integration, requirements and verification, configuration management, MBSE, and integration and test. A strong grasp of systems engineering principles, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills, is essential. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure program success. Additionally, you will oversee resource acquisition, process development, continuous improvement initiatives, and foster relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Ideal candidates will have experience aerospace programs and working with the United States Navy customer.  

Position Responsibilities: Program execution responsibilities include:

  • Plan and manage SEIT work scope (technical, cost, schedule, and risk).

  • Work with the SEIT Leader to actively manage the IPT to drive decisions, design development, and requirements to ensure program milestones are met.

  • Work with the SEIT Leader to actively manage the IPT cost and schedule performance per baseline plan.

  • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner and per schedule commitment.

  • Report program risks, seek opportunities to save cost/reduce schedule, and contribute to a positive and effective work environment.

  • Interface with diverse program and customer teams.

  • Prioritize the development and career growth of his/her employees and team.

  • Inspire and empower your team through collaboration, communication, and caring.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an engineering discipline

  • 10 years’ related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams.

  • 3+ years of technical experience in complex systems development and integration

  • 3+ years of experience working as an engineering manager

  • 3+ years of experience working with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), variance analysis, that indicate progress and compliance with project and program requirement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher

  • Proven track record of execution in a development environment

  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively at multiple levels (peers, executive leaders, and customers)

  • Experience working in Cameo, MSOSA, or similar Model Based Systems Engineering tools

  • Experience across multiple phases of the product life-cycle

  • Experience applying Program Management Best Practices (PMBPs) to include project planning / scheduling and applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
