Zion Mountain Ranch is an elevated sanctuary just 3 miles from the East Entrance of Zion National Park, set on a roaming bison preserve. Guests can choose from thoughtfully crafted cabins and bespoke lodges and enjoy on‑site experiences including guided horseback riding, bison feedings, and Cordwood, a field‑to‑fork restaurant featuring ingredients from the ranch’s organic gardens.

Job Summary:Ā 

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. YouĀ will manage reservations,Ā assistĀ guests with their needs, and contribute to the overall operations of the front desk.Ā  (Seasonal working dates: March 15th- November 1st)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Greet guests upon arrival andĀ assistĀ with the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.Ā 

  • Handle guest check-outs, process payments, and provideĀ accurateĀ billing information.Ā 

  • Manage reservations through the hotel management system, ensuring accuracy and availability.Ā 

  • Handle phone inquiries andĀ assistĀ guests with booking reservations, providing information about rates, availability, and lodge amenities.Ā 

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a friendly and professional manner.Ā 

  • Offer local information, recommend activities, andĀ assistĀ guests with planning their stay.Ā 

  • Maintain effective communication with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and address any guest issues.Ā 

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to guests and support lodge operations.Ā 

  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, andĀ maintainingĀ organized records.Ā 

  • Prepare daily reports andĀ assistĀ with cash handling, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.Ā

Work Location:Ā 

  • Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, RV space with hook ups are available at no cost for employees and limited employee housing at no cost is available on-siteĀ and commuting fromĀ the local vicinity is also acceptable.Ā Ā 

  • Due to the nature of our business,Ā Zion Mountain Ranch is open every day. You must be prepared toĀ workĀ a schedule which may include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Ā 

  • Technical skillsĀ forĀ entries of reservationsĀ and quality performance.Ā Ā 

  • Establish successful working relationships with co-workers and the public.Ā 

  • Ability to get along well with people, be honest,Ā punctualĀ and reliable.Ā 

  • Ability to remain calm and friendly.Ā 

  • Ability to physically be out to make rounds throughout the resort.Ā Ā 

  • Ability to adapt to changing work conditions.Ā 

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.Ā Ā 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;Ā additionalĀ education in hospitality or related field is a plus.Ā 

  • PreviousĀ experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred.Ā 

  • Strong communicationĀ and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues.Ā 

  • Proficient in computer systems andĀ software;Ā experience with hotel management systems is a plus.Ā 

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ā
