The Maintenance GroundkeeperĀ is responsible forĀ maintainingĀ the outdoor grounds ofĀ Zion Mountain Ranch,Ā ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. This position involves a variety ofĀ cleaning andĀ landscapingĀ tasks,Ā utilizingĀ various tools and equipment while adhering to safety and environmental standards.Ā (Seasonal working dates: March 15th- November 1st)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā
Supports a clean and tidy landscaping area, and all outside grounds andĀ common areasĀ
Custodial duties are performed for litter pick-up andĀ a clean, neat,Ā sanitizedĀ grounds,Ā sidewalks,Ā andĀ company vehicles.Ā
HelpĀ maintainĀ grounds by performing tasks such as:Ā
Raking, blowing, push mowing, tree trimming, edging, Mulching, planting, seeding, sodding, Aerification and general cleanup dutiesĀ
Operate andĀ maintainĀ equipment including but not limited to:Ā
Push mowers, backpack blowers, edgers, spray equipment, weed eaters, small vehicles, and sidewinder equipmentĀ
Use and care for hand tools and equipment issued on the job.Ā
General cleanup dutiesĀ and dumping of filled trash binsĀ
Participates in separating waste for proper recycling and trash management programĀ
UtilizesĀ Computerized Maintenance InformationĀ System isĀ CMIS to inputĀ accurateĀ information.Ā
FollowsĀ HazCom, HazMat, SPCCĀ andĀ OSHA worker safety standards, environmental safety, and maintenance departmentĀ standardsĀ
Maintains and organizesĀ work areas andĀ followsĀ OSHA safety standardsĀ
ParticipatesĀ inĀ department and companyĀ requiredĀ trainings and meetingsĀ
CommunicatesĀ positivelyĀ with management,Ā staffĀ and visitors toĀ facilitateĀ and nurture a healthy, comfortable, clean,Ā andĀ funĀ experience.Ā Ā
Perform various landscaping duties including but not limited to pulling weeds, watering trees, pruning, raking,Ā andĀ dirt work,Ā Ā
This position will alsoĀ be responsible forĀ the weekly interior cleaning of theĀ companyĀ vehicles.Ā

Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, this position is on-site. RV space with hook ups are available at no cost for employees, limited employee housing at no cost is available on-siteĀ and commuting fromĀ the local vicinity is also acceptable.Ā Ā
