This position is responsible for overseeing chemical manufacturing operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production processes. The role supports operational performance, product quality, and team development while working closely with maintenance and engineering teams to maintain reliable plant operations.

JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES
- Supervise day-to-day chemical manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
- Oversee railcar and tanker loading/unloading operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage blending operations, maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Mentor and train team members on operational best practices, safety, and technical skills.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and process efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONSÂ
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Relevant work experience in a chemical plant, manufacturing environment, or military is required.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient in math, English language reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.
