Buyer – Copper & Brass Metals Division
Location: Southfield, MI (Hybrid)
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 + Incentives

What You’ll Do
- Support Sales & Contracts: Quote and assist with sales contracts.
- Manage Purchasing: Convert requisitions into purchase orders and maintain inventory using our ERP system.
- Optimize Supply Chain: Schedule materials to meet inventory objectives and manage supplier relationships.
- Process Returns & Credits: Handle return purchase orders and enter credits/debits as needed.
- Build Supplier Partnerships: Understand supply base capabilities, lead times, and costing.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Communicate effectively with internal customers and suppliers.
- Drive Results: Align with corporate objectives like ROCE and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- 1–2 years in purchasing (preferred).
- Familiarity with SAP and BlueYonder (preferred).
- Skills:
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and supplier capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
