The Stand "American Classics Redefined" restaurant recently opened its first Texas location at Hughes Landing in the Woodlands. We are looking for very personable and energetic people to join our team. This very important role makes sure that all of our guests feel welcome and is the first step in ensuring that everyone receives our great food exactly the way they want it. If you like a high-energy environment and enjoy interacting with guests and other team members, along with serving great food, this is a job for you! In addition, with some of the most competitive pay in The Woodlands and participating in a large tip pool for a fast casual restaurant, you will also be well compensated financially.

Founded in 2003 in California, The Stand "American Classics Redefined" has redefined fast-casual dining with great service and food. Our first Texas location is located on the ground level of Two Lakes Edge, an award-winning luxury, multi-family development, part of the beautiful Hughes Landing property. The Stand serves high quality classic American food at an affordable price in an upscale and contemporary environment. Our menu consists of made-to-order burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps, hot dogs, veggies, side milkshakes, unique sodas, craft beer, and wine on tap.

We are growing fast, with plans to open three to four new locations in the Houston market in the next couple of years. We're excited about our growth, and even more excited at the possibility of you joining our team to help us support this growth!

No restaurant experience is required! All you need is your smile and a great attitude, a dedication to work and we’ll teach you the rest!

We’re Looking for Cashiers that have the following:

• Outgoing personalities and friendly attitudes
• Passion for great food and customer service
• Ability to work well with others
• An overwhelming desire to go above and beyond to provide a G.R.E.A.T. guest experience

Things you can expect to do while working as a cashier:

• Greeting all guests who enter with a warm "welcome" and a friendly attitude
• Taking orders at the register and accurately entering them
• Promoting our Stand App so our guests can get rewards
• Taking payments (cash, credit cards, gift cards and our Stand App)
• Delivering orders to guests and checking on other guests after you drop off food
• Keeping the restaurant clean and organized (particularly the dining room and the soda fountain area)
• Keeping the patio, entry and restrooms tidy and clean
• Portioning sauces and our amazing pickles
• Serving our beer, wine and cocktails (all on tap)
• Delivering free samples to our guests
• Keeping an eye on guests in the dining room and helping bring any issues to a manager's attention

Schedule:

• Part-time shifts
• Full-time promotions available

Compensation:

• Up to $12 per hour plus tips 
• 100 percent of tips are shared with all non-manager team members
