About the Role
As an LVN with Redwood, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the health and daily living needs of residents. You will administer medications, monitor medical conditions, advocate for individuals, and ensure their overall safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and follow the Five Rights for accuracy
- Attend medical appointments and communicate updates with physicians
- Support daily living activities (bathing, grooming, meals, etc.)
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and breathing treatments
- Audit medications for accuracy during each cycle
- Perform g-tube feedings, colostomy care, and IM injections
- Administer insulin for individuals with diabetes
- Assess behavior changes, seizures, and medical conditions
- Provide redirection and support during behavioral episodes
- Document daily notes and report unusual behaviors/injuries
- Conduct physical assessments and monitor vital signs
- Participate in community outings (beach trips, hiking, etc.)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities
- Current LVN License (Required)
- First Aid, CPR & CPI certifications (Required)
- Must be 21+ years old
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check
Shift Availability
- AM & PM shifts available

- One location – Stockton, CA
