Cook – Full Time & Part Time (AM & PM Shifts Available)

Location: Sunnyvale Gardens Post Acute

Position: Cook

Starting Pay $21 and up DOE
Schedules Available:

• Full-Time AM Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

• Flex PM Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (as needed)

• Part-Time AM & PM Shifts: Flexible scheduling available

Position Overview

As a Cook, you will prepare meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety in every dish served. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured kitchen environment and takes pride in supporting resident well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following facility recipes and dietary requirements

• Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies

• Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines are followed

• Assist with food prep for upcoming meals

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

• Collaborate with dietary staff to support smooth meal service

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or senior living a plus)

• Ability to work early mornings and/or evenings as scheduled

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Positive attitude, dependability, and strong teamwork skills
