Description:

Practice and Clinical Scope

·         Full-Time position, fully office-based practice with no Hospital ER responsibility

·         Joining an established and reputable GI practice with ample support staff, including seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of GI experience

·         OR time at Fisherman’s Hospital and Mariner’s Hospital

·         Candidates will have a background in disorders of Functional GI disorders, preventive GI care including colorectal cancer screening

·         Provide diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology services

·         Perform endoscopic procedures in accordance with hospital privileges

·         Ability and expertise in EGDs, colonoscopies, and ERCPs

·         Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a min a multi-specialty environment, including care coordination with primary care, surgeons, etc.

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate and Requirements

·         MD/DO from an accredited institution

·         Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

·         Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure)

·         Provide references focusing on quality, excellent patient centered-care, bedside manner and professional demeanor, and collaboration in multidisciplinary team environment
