Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead a culture of Safety within the workplace

• Ensure all operations are carried on in a safe, appropriate, cost-effective way

• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

• Hold the area accountable for standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.

• Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue

• Ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality

• Drive operational excellence and process optimization

• Formulate and execute operational objectives

• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs

• Lead and motivate employees through positive encouragement, training, and coaching

• Establish and maintain a well-motivated team including training, supporting, and developing each team member.

• Coordinating teams across shifts to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities

• Drives the performance process and professional development of all Supervisor level personnel within the team

• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• 5 years of people management experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience

• Progressive experience managing production teams

• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

• Familiarity with business and financial principles

• Excellent communication skills

• Leadership ability

• Outstanding organizational skills
