Shift Availability: PRN days Pay: $55/hourly. Job Description: The primary purpose of these positions are to plan, organize, develop and direct our facility’s Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be maintained at all times. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Occupational Therapy evaluations, complete care plans, establish goals, and communicate frequently with COTAs who will assist in implementing these care plans and goals. Effectively communicate with the DOR, therapy staff, and nursing staff regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Verify patient information and appropriately chart, to include therapy notes, treatment times, and labor hours. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition. Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information. Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
