Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program- This will be a paid earn while you learn program.

Pay Rate: $16.00  

Samaritan Health is excited to announce its Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program. This 3-6 week, paid training program will require a time commitment of 40 hours per week.   If you are a compassionate, caring, and dedicated individual interested in a dynamic healthcare opportunity as a Certified Nursing Assistant at one of our long-term care nursing homes, (Samaritan Keep Home or Samaritan Summit Village) consider the CNA training program that is held in Watertown, NY.  Upon the successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the New York State Certified Nursing Assistant exam. 

• There are mandatory orientation days in which you will be given the schedule accordingly.  
• Classes will begin following your orientation activities and are held Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.  
• Classes will be ongoing for 3 weeks.  (Class schedule subject to change).
      

• Candidates must have a High School Diploma,  GED or equivalent.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to provide proof of immunizations. 
• Must be 18 years of age to apply.
