Lead the First Response When Property Damage Happens.

When a home or business suffers water, fire, mold, or storm damage, mitigation is the urgent first step—stopping further loss, stabilizing the building, and setting the stage for full repairs.

That’s where you come in.

Paul Davis Restoration is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager—a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, communicates confidently with customers, and knows how to keep projects, people, and priorities aligned.

Restoration experience is a plus… but not required.
If you come from construction, facilities, emergency response, field operations, or trade leadership—and love being in the action—we want to talk.

đź›  What Is Mitigation, Exactly?

Mitigation is the emergency response phase after property damage:

  • Drying water-damaged structures
  • Stabilizing fire-affected buildings
  • Preventing mold growth
  • Coordinating cleanup and safety measures
  • Preparing sites for reconstruction

Projects move quickly—often completed in just a few days—and no two days look the same.

🔥 What You’ll Do

As a Mitigation Project Manager, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for customers while leading crews and subcontractors in the field:

  • Manage residential and commercial mitigation jobs from start to finish
  • Oversee multiple fast-moving projects at once
  • Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, schedulers, and customers
  • Explain scopes, timelines, and industry procedures clearly and professionally
  • Conduct site visits and quality checks
  • Maintain documentation such as drying logs and job records
  • Ensure work meets safety, regulatory, and industry standards
  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
  • Control budgets and drive efficiency
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts quickly
  • Deliver a calm, confident experience for customers during stressful situations

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Industry experience is great—but not required. We value leadership, communication, and field savvy just as much.

You’ll thrive here if you have:

  • Construction, field operations, or project leadership experience
  • Strong customer-service instincts
  • Comfort juggling multiple jobs at once
  • The ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and learning new systems)
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to rotate on-call shifts and work overtime when needed

đź’° Compensation

Competitive base salary plus achievable performance bonuses
