SignificantĀ investmentĀ of $15.7M in Phase I is currently underway and will be followed by Phase II in the fall ofĀ 2026.Ā Ā The guest experience is being reimagined end-to-end, and the property is being elevated into one of the most compelling mountain properties in the region. We are hiring a General Manager to lead that transformation.Ā

You will own the full performance of a 144-room mountain lodge featuring Logan’s full-service restaurant,Ā gift shopĀ & cafe, wellness amenities, over 15,000Ā sqftĀ of meeting and event spaceĀ includingĀ a brand-new 8,000 sq. ft. event centre currently under construction.Ā Ā

Transformation & Brand LeadershipĀ 

  • Lead theĀ hotelĀ through a large-scale renovation, translating vision into reality and ensuring the guest experience is elevated at everyĀ touchpoint.Ā 

  • Position Grouse Mountain Lodge as theĀ definitive mountain hotel in Whitefish — notĀ just competitive, but iconic.Ā 

  • Champion Pursuit’s ā€œGo Beyondā€ service philosophy, inspiring your team to consistently exceed expectations.Ā

Culture, Talent & Leadership DevelopmentĀ 

  • Direct recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of all hotel leaders and team members.Ā 

  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-ones andĀ reviews, and address performance concerns.Ā 

  • Lead workforce planning, labor relations, scheduling, wage administration, and retention strategies.Ā 

Ā 

Financial LeadershipĀ 

  • Own full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and financial reporting.Ā 

  • Partner withĀ Pursuit’sĀ RevenueĀ teamĀ toĀ optimizeĀ ADR, Occupancy, and RevPAR through dynamic pricing strategies.Ā 

  • Implement disciplined cost-control strategies across labor, utilities, and operations while protecting four-star service standards.Ā 

  • Prepare performance reporting, analyze variances, and communicate results to senior leadership.Ā 

Ā 

Sales, Marketing & ReputationĀ 

  • Partner with sales and revenue teams to drive group, corporate, leisure, and event demand.Ā 

  • Oversee online reputation management, review scores, and Net Promoter performance across all platforms.Ā 

  • Build relationships with travel partners, corporate clients, and community stakeholders to grow market share.Ā 

Ā 

Guest Experience & Quality AssuranceĀ 

  • Set,Ā monitor, and uphold service excellence standards across Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Events.Ā 

  • Be visibly present — engaging VIPs and personally resolving complex guest concerns.Ā 

  • Lead regular property walks across guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house to ensure brand standards are met.Ā

Operational & Facilities LeadershipĀ 

  • Oversee all departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering,Ā andĀ Security.Ā Ā 

  • Champion preventive maintenance programs and ensure all mechanical, electrical, and structural systems areĀ maintainedĀ to the highest standard.Ā

Food & Beverage OversightĀ 

  • Ensure the quality, profitability, and service excellence of Logan’s Restaurant, bars, banquets, and in-room dining.Ā

Compliance & SafetyĀ 

  • Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, security, and licensing regulations.Ā 

  • Develop andĀ maintainĀ emergency preparedness and business continuity plansĀ
