Are you an experienced Health Safety leader or coordinator with a manufacturing background Could you lead and develop Health Safety policies and culture in a high volume manufacturer Are you looking for a new role as a H&S manager in a well-established and successful manufacturing businessKingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Health Safety Manager by a specialist high volume manufacturing business. In this role you will support the QHSE Manager setting and delivering the H&S goals, strategy ,policies and training for the company.As the ideal candidate you will be experienced in Health Safety Management, be qualified to NEBOSH and be used to delivering 45001 and 14001 in a manufacturing setting.The role involves:

  • Overall responsibility for the development, implementation and maintaining the appropriate management systems in relation to Health and Safety.
  • Ensuring targets are achieved in relation to Health Safety across Manufacturing, Logistics and Office facilities
  • Following direction set by QHSE Manager this is a key role for implementing and supporting programs that ensure the attainment and continual improvement of Health and Safety processes.
  • Providing expertise to other group companies when required.
  • Being company representative for external H&S auditing and enforcement agencies.
  • Acting as a role model or H&S within the company , driving a culture of H&S excellence
  • Develops and implements training programs to ensure all employees are aware of good health and safety practices, including ā€œon the jobā€ training.
  • Building H&S into all SOP for all relevant actions across the facility
