Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Control & Instrument Engineer, you will:
- Deliver Control and Instrumentation Engineering in Oil & Gas and Energy sector in brownfield engineering.
- Attend minor software FATs for all system modification listed above.
- Providing Ownership, Input, and guidance in the preparation of Control and Instrumentation documentation.
- Experience producing instrument equipment datasheets.
- Understanding and ability to interpret system Process and Instrument Diagrams, fabrication drawings and schematics is essential.
- Experience in coordinating and controlling vendor document submissions and reviews.

Location: Aberdeen or Glasgow hybrid working 3 days in the office with flexibility to work from home for 2 days.
Youll have experience of:
- Working for an engineering design company / EPCC support role
- Some demonstrable knowledge and experience in Field Instrument selection & application particularly:
- Control valves / Shutdown Valves / Pressure Safety Valves / Flowmeters / Pressure Transmitters / Temperature Transmitters / Level Transmitters / Switches / F&G Detectors
- Control system modification, particularly:
- DCS/PCS / ESD/PSD/PSS / F&G / UCPs
- Writing system SoW for 3rd party systems vendors listed above.
- Vendor management of all the systems vendors noted above.
- Knowledge in the below and requirement of these studies in any modifications:
- HAZOP/HAZID and any other PHA / Fault Tree Analysis / LOPA / Risk Assessments / Workshops/Reviews

Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline
- Chartered Engineer status
- Understand the application of Autodesk Design products
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications
- Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS/MIST preferable
