Our client is looking for an HSE Advisor for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
Key role will be providing HS&E support to the Project Management Group and for specific projects. This may require the development of Quality and HSE plans with clients, safety interface documents, organizing ENVID/HAZID events, performing contractor QHSE evaluations, making job sites audits and inspection and investigating incidents.
Provide HSE performance reports to project management and client as required. The position must support in the overall delivery of the business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy. Reporting to the HSE Lead
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for planning and implementing process assurance activities for the project and reporting the results to the Contract Manager.
- Prepare a plan of assurance activities (audits, spot checks and document reviews) for the critical processes for the project.
-  Monitor work planning activities and evaluate compliance with requirements (project risk assessment and contingency plans, contractor’s work Programmes, etc.). Proactively intervene and report any issues identified.
- Participate in project risk reviews when required.
- Monitor compliance with critical processes for onshore resource preparation and mobilisation (personnel selection, briefing and equipment preparation - maintenance and certification, management of change). Proactively intervene and report any issues identified.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven ability in working on client projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in Oil and Gas Operations, projects, and turnarounds.
