Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (some flexibility may be available).

Production Engineer required for a well-established, privately owned manufacturer and service provider within the Oil and Gas industry. This employer offers fantastic training and development opportunities, a generous package and security.

The Successful Production Engineer will have previous experience in assembling and testing mechanical products. You will have previously created and updated assembly and test procedures, along with associated reports, as well in interpreting and creating engineering drawings and bills of materials. You will have knowledge and understanding of process hold points, QC activities and FATs. A competent level of IT literacy is required.

The Production Engineer Role:

  • Working as part for a cross departmental group responsible for ensuring smooth transition of a product from design to production.
  • Be responsible for the provision of various formats of information required to allow manufacturing and servicing to be conducted repeatedly to meet required company and industry quality standards.
  • Identify appropriate methods of manufacture for the company products ensuring that best practices are employed.
  • Working with suppliers and purchasing to coordinate and help managed the supply chain in relation to outsourced activities including supplier auditing and performance reviews.
  • Review manufacturing methods regularly as part of the companies drive for continual improvement.
  • Operate with the document control systems to ensure all manufacturing information and documentation id formally approved, released, and amended.
  • Ensure manufacturing database information is accurately maintained.
