Job Opportunity: Senior Site Agent - Civil Engineering Project in Aberdeen

Our client, a major global engineering firm, is looking to expand its design team in Scotland by recruiting an experienced Senior Site Agent for a civil engineering project based in Aberdeen. This role involves working within the infrastructure and highway sectors, where the business has secured numerous project wins and has exciting growth plans throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ): Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company safety procedures.
• Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to maintain high safety standards.
• Site Management: Oversee site operations from inception to completion.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, guide, and mentor project team members as needed.
• Resource Management: Ensure timely ordering and supply of plant and materials.
• Quality Control: Check drawings and quantities for accuracy.
• Relationship Management: Maintain good working relationships both on-site and off-site.
• Logistics Management: Optimise site logistics to maximize production.
• Project Delivery: Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Delay Management: Effectively manage any project delays.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualifications: HND or equivalent in engineering/project management; Civil Engineering related degree.
• Experience: Demonstrable experience as a Site Agent on highway and infrastructure projects.
• Skills: Excellent communication and liaison skills.
• Certifications: Valid CSCS; IOSH or SMSTS.
• Knowledge: Appropriate knowledge of health and safety policies.
• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence.
