Role: Refuse LoaderPay: £12.18 per hourLocation: AbergavennyHours: 37 hours per weekMonday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00, Friday, 07:00 - 14:30Pertemps are currently recruiting for a temporary refuse loader for a client based in Abergavenny working within their Neighbourhood services department for an immediate start.The Role:

To Ensure recycling and waste collections are undertaken in a professional, efficient, and safe manner, including, Food waste, Garden waste, Residual waste (Black bags), Hygiene waste, Dry recycling, Trade waste.
To collect waste from households and businesses as determined by the recycling and waste strategy.
To Ensure all collection are made on schedule.
To monitor contamination in recycling collections
To follow and comply with all Safe Working Practices, procedures and Health and Safety Policies.
To work at other depots when operational necessity demands it.
To report any incidents/concerns to your supervisor immediately
To ensure that all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Relevant experience in a similar role
A good understanding of Health and Safety issues
Good communication skills
It is desirable for the post holder has a clean and current driving licence.
The ability to work as part of a team.
