Due to growth my client, an award winning Retail Bank, currently seek an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join their Wales and SW England team. The role will involve the direct management of 7 colleagues operating within the motor finance sector and duties will include:
- The direction and oversight of 7 experienced Account Managers
- Coaching and motivating the team to meet their full potential
- Implementing the company's new strategy around dealer and network development
- Motivate the team to meet area objectives including sales, new business, dealer funding, quality and risk
- Develop a strong understanding of the region including competitors, opportunities, and associated risks.
- Engage at all levels to influence and assist in the formulation of strategies to keep the company relevant and competitive.
- Promote and develop the companies profile with new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of all pertaining policies, procedures and legislative and regulatory practices (ICOB, FCA, Money Laundering, Data Protection etc)
- Accountable for identifying and managing any significant risk.
Applicants must possess senior sales experience from the Regulated Finance sector (ideally Motor) having managed a high performing Sales Team. You will possesses excellent communication skills and be able to influence decisions and implement strategies in order to meet the agreed sales and activity targets for your area. You will also be able to coach, train and mentor a successful team of Account Managers and identify strengths and weaknesses in order to maximise their potential.
