Info about what the Financial Accountant entails
路Lead specific tasks in preparing monthly management accounts, including fixed assets register maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and period end journals.
路Prepare group statutory accounts, ensuring accurate supporting documents and disclosures.
路Collaborate with external auditors and advisors during the audit process.
路Coordinate R&D tax credit filings with external advisors, HMRC, and internal stakeholders.
Essential Requirements of the Financial Accountant
路Practical experience with audit processes.
路Experience preparing statutory accounts and statutory accounting.
路Ensuring accurate disclosures.
路Familiarity with manufacturing accounting principles, including the Bill of Materials (BOM).
路Proficiency with the IFS Finance system.
路ACA or ACCA qualified
