Treasury Assistant
- Annual Salary: £24,840 to £26,000, depending on experience

Reed Accountancy have partnered with an industry leading, South Oxfordshire business who are looking for an aspiring candidate to join their dynamic Treasury team within the Group Finance department as a Treasury Assistant. This role is not just about processing payments; it's about being at the heart of financial operations, ensuring the financial health of the company through meticulous management of daily transactions and strategic reconciliation of accounts. Key responsibilities:
- Process bank statement transactions daily.
- Handle both manual and formal payment runs, including royalty runs.
- Process necessary refunds as required in Secure Trading.
- Record and process direct debits and standing orders.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Manage banking and reconciling of cheques.
- Oversee the proforma payments process, collaborating with Customer Services to ensure timely dispatch of orders upon payment receipt.
- Maintain high-level communication and provide excellent service to all stakeholders.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the Treasury Department operations, such as scanning, filing, and archiving.
- Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested in line with the job role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially proficient in Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP is preferable.
- Understanding of double entry book-keeping is beneficial.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and using banking platforms for payments is desirable.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and reliable with strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working to established departmental processes with a systematic, methodical approach.Â
- Well-organised with the ability to adapt, plan, and meet strict deadlines.
- Attentive to detail and keen to develop personal skills.
