Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are working with an Abingdon based firm seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance team on a short-term temporary basis. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger and work closely alongside one other co-member, ensuring timely debt collection in accordance with company procedures, and resolving queries promptly. This position will be for 1-2 months, full time office based and standard working hours 9 am - 5 pm with free on-site parking. Paying an hourly rate of up to £15.38per hour, they would be looking for someone to join end of next week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect outstanding debts via telephone and letter.
- Compile reports related to credit control.
- Advise on credit issues for your assigned offices.
- Chase project managers internally.
- Resolve problems and queries.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a credit control function.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and demonstrate persistence.
- Team player who enjoys a friendly work environment.
