Machine Operator

The Recruitment Co are looking for Experienced Machine Operators to work with our client who is one of the largest global manufacturers of flexible reinforcement textiles.

Location: Altham, Accrington, Lancashire, BB5.

Employment Type: Temporary / Full Time

Shift Pattern: (4 days on / 4 days off)

Hours of Work: 07:00 - 19:00 / Average 42 hours per week

Pay Rate: £12.01 inclusive of shift allowance

Role and responsibilities of a Machine Operative:

• Operating a machine
• Following standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
• Carrying out routine maintenance.
• Fixing machines that have broken down.
• Measuring raw materials and feeding them into the machines.
• Quality control - highlight quality issues
• Casting into open tools creating moulds
• Cutting & Trimming
• Maintenance of machinery
• Experience preferred for Machine Operative
• Good levels of English
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a similar position
