We are looking for a Quality NPI Project Engineer to manage the compilation of APQP documentation for submission to customers. As part of this role, you will also liaise with customers and suppliers. This is an interesting and varied role, and you will meet some great people along the way.

What are some of the things I will be doing?

·Manage the Parts Submissions Warrant (PSW) process to ensure the correct documentation is completed, sent to the customer on time and approvals are documented and obtained in a timely manner.

Interpreting drawings and specifications to understand acceptance criteria and create measurement plans.

·Utilise automotive tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R & R, IMDS and APQP.

·Utilise FMEA software to support the efficient APQP documentation process.

·Competently use inspection equipment (including CMM) to verify dimensional conformance of products.

·Update and maintain project related documentation.

·Provide support for production relating to sample submissions.

What do I need to have?

·Core tools – FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, Process Flows, IMDS.

·Relevant experience within a testing and product part submission environment.

·Experience of working within an engineering background.

·Microsoft Office.

·Understands DOE basic principles.

It would be even better if you have:

·Lean Six Sigma.

·IATF 16949/ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.

·Experience of working within an Automotive environment which has a design responsibility.

·CMM programming experience.
