About the People Advisor OpportunityYou’ll work with our wider People Team to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture. As a key member of our team, your solid HR knowledge, communication skills, and natural empathy will help ensure our people feel valued, respected, and supported – whatever their background or experience.
Main People Advisor Responsibilities- Act as a central point of contact for people-related queries from colleagues and managers, providing accurate advice on policies, procedures, and employment law
- Guide and support managers across a range of employee relations matters, such as absence management, performance, and wellbeing
- Champion a fair, consistent, and supportive approach to all HR processes, acting in line with best practice and our company values
- Support the implementation of people projects and initiatives, including engagement, diversity, and wellbeing programmes
- Collaborate with the People Team on HR administration, reporting, and continuous improvement activities
- Coach managers and leaders, building their capability to resolve issues informally and proactively
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive people information
- Experience in an HR advisory, People Advisor, or similar people-focused role
- Knowledge of employment law, HR policies and best practice
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills, able to handle sensitive and complex situations with empathy and professionalism
- Solution-focused approach and a drive to support managers and colleagues across the business
- Attention to detail, organisation, and the ability to manage multiple queries simultaneously
- CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards) is desirable, but we’ll support development for the right person
