HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Featherstone. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

The Details:

• Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Nights
• Salary: £40,184.43 Per Annum
• Holiday Allowance: 20 days 
• Monthly Pay.
• Parking onsite

HGV Class 1 driver duties:

• Maintain professional standards where representing MDL on delivery and collection 
• Carryout pre-use checks prior to using any equipment / vehicle
• Report and H&S issues or defects to MDL management teams
• Ensure your vehicle is loaded safely & correctly at all times
• Check & complete all paperwork such as, POD & Delivery 
• Ensure returned goods are managed by the correct process at all times
• Provide relevant feedback to management 
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Ability to work a Night Out wherever possible

HGV Class 1 driver requirements:

• At least 6 months driving experience
• Ability to adhere to H&S legislastion
• Comply with EU driver hours, Tachograph limits & WTD regulations
• No more than 6 points & no DD/DR endorsements
• Hold valid C+E license
• Ability to pass driving assesment
