In this dynamic role, you'll tackle everything from reactive breakdowns to planned maintenance and engaging project work. As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
  • Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
  • Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
  • Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
  • Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
  • Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.

Required Experience:

  • Diagnosing and fixing faults on plant and equipment
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
