Our client, a thriving FMCG manufacturing company with multiple UK sites, is actively seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer for their site near Glenmavis, Airdrie.
In this dynamic role, you'll tackle everything from reactive breakdowns to planned maintenance and engaging project work. As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
- Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
- Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
- Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
- Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
- Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
- Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
- Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.
Required Experience:
- Diagnosing and fixing faults on plant and equipment
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
