MK has a new vacancy available for an experienced Senior Buyer to join our manufacturing industry client based in North Lanarkshire.
This role would suit candidates who have a technical expertise preferably from an Engineering/Manufacturing background. You will have proven experience as a Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
Duties will include, but not limited to
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet production requirements while minimising costs and lead times.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilise Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to generate purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and track materials flow.
