Monday - Friday, 40 hour week

About the role:

Responsible for driving forward the Health and Safety agenda across site,whilst guiding employees towards a positive health and safety culture and ensuring the company complies with all H&S legal obligations.

Role Details:

• Implementing new H&S proccesses and improving oldprocesses.
• Lead on obtaining and retaining relevant accreditations.
• Setting up and maintaining health and safety reporting procedures.
• Propose sustainability initiatives, such as reducing carbon emissions, minimising waste and implementing eco-friendly practices.
• Implementing and leading Lean 6 Sigma initiative across site.
• Delivering H&S inductions to the new starters.
• Writing and delivering on site training programmesrelated H&S matters
• Develop Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Working Practices.
• Managing First Aid and Emergency Evacuation teams.
• Carrying out regular site tours to provide visible H&S leadership within the company.
