*** IT NSTALLATION & SUPPORT ENGINEER ***We are excited to be recruiting an IT Installation & Support Engineer with a passion for technology and the desire to work with like-minded people within a fast moving environment. This is a super varied role requiring a breadth of experience in a wide variety of IT/Telecoms technologies.You will be hands on technically ensuring the smooth system configuration and implementation for new installations along with assisting the support team to service existing customers. Salary up to £26K depending on experience, paid parking, company van provided, on-going professional developmentKey responsibilities for the IT Installation & Support Engineer include,

  • Either remotely or onsite, provide installation and configuration services for a wide range of Telecom and IT solutions
  • Either remotely or onsite, provide high quality customer experience in relation to the installation or maintenance of a customer's IT or Telephony services
  • Use of remote tools to assist customers in troubleshooting problems
  • Remote/onsite support and project-based work (Full UK Driving license & Vehicle essential)
  • Manage technical installation and support cases within the company help desk system
  • Ensure clear, professional communication between the team and customer
  • Audit and document client information

The ideal IT Installation & Support Engineer will need the following,

  • Prior experience in an IT or Telecom Support or Delivery role essential
  • Strong customer service background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with VoIP platforms, ideally with 3CX or Yeastar
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Networking concepts, Including Wired and Wireless Networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN's and VPN's
  • Experience with all forms of connectivity, FTTP, SoGEA, Leased Lines
  • Full UK driving licence essential
