Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to fulfil a permanent, full time role within a large Secondary School based in Farnborough.

As the Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for the safe educating of pupils within your assigned classes, teaching them a variety of both practical and informative lesson content. You will teach years 7-11 and support with GCSE content to prepare pupils to enhance their skills, as well as to sit their examinations with effective knowledge to succeed. You will be a motivated individual, working with the Department and Department Head to ensure all content is relevant to the curriculum.

For this role, you will be/will need:- Qualified Teacher Status (or recognised Teaching Degree) with Specialism- Thorough knowledge of the GCSE subject curriculum- Good Level of ICT literacy- Be able to demonstrate a positive and authoritative rapport with pupils- Excellent and effective classroom management skills- Organised and self-motivated, with a proven record for meeting targets and deadlines

The salary for this role is currently ECT/MPS/UPS and is set to start September 2024. ECT's are welcome to apply.
