Role- Cad Engineer (Laser Profiling)
Location- Rotherham
Salary £13-15ph (£28,700 - £33000)
Mon – Thurs 08-5.00pm Fri 7am – 4pm (42.5 hrs)
My client is a leading name in the field of Subcontract Laser profiling and CNC Press services specialising in fabricated steel products, laser cut parts and CNC folding.
They are currently looking for an experienced CAD Engineer to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
- Nesting/optimizing parts into stock sheet.
- Programming parts from customer drawings
- Quality checking all programming work carried out to ensure high levels of accuracy.
- Coordinating the issue of works with the production department to achieve customer delivery dates.
- Communicate with customers.
- Provide assistance to the business in continuously improving systems and efficiencies.
- Communicate with external suppliers and continuously improve costs and efficiency.
You will be able to work from and understand Engineering drawings, understand AutoCAD, Solid Works or related software, ideally be from a sheet metal background and be experienced in programming Laser’s or Press Brakes (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic)
